A meaningful day at the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome.

Today, Renovua SpA and Domus Europa had the honour of presenting their international projects following the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Gdańsk.

The conference, moderated by Serena Tajé Forni, General Director of Domus Europa, brought together representatives of institutions, universities, industry and civil society committed to supporting Ukraine through concrete initiatives.

The central focus of the event was the Veterans Project, presented by Stefan Nicolussi Rossi, Founder and President of Renovua and Domus Europa, together with Prof.MD Орест Чемерис, Rector of the Львівський національний медичний університет імені Данила Галицького - ЛНМУ Lviv National Medical University (LNMU), and Prof. Alexander Gardetto, inventor of the innovative TSR (Targeted Sensory Reinnervation) surgical technique.

The project establishes LNMU as the national Ukrainian hub for surgeon training, medical quality management and the development of next-generation bionic prostheses, offering new hope to thousands of war veterans and civilian victims.

Eng. Luca Adami presented the scientific cooperation between the University of Trento, IFNTUOG (Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas) and Renovua in the fields of energy, research and innovation, together with new joint initiatives currently under development in Uzbekistan.

Anatolii Dziubenko presented the activities of iHelp and its cooperation with Domus Europa, highlighting the association’s commitment to supporting children affected by the war and vulnerable families.

Prof. Fabrizio Giulimondi presented the new cooperation with the Nicolaus Copernicus University, which will establish a representative office within the headquarters of Domus Europa, strengthening the academic bridge between Italy, Poland and Ukraine.

The conference was honoured by institutional greetings from H.E. Tamara Cherpakova, Ministro Consigliere of the Embassy of Ukraine in Rome, Senator Marco Scurria, Secretary of the Senate Committee on European Affairs, Hon. Federico Mollicone, President of the Culture Committee of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, and Hon. Przemysław Czarnek, Member of the Polish Parliament, all underlining the importance of strengthening cooperation between Italy, Ukraine and Poland.

The event also highlighted the role of the Ukrainian diaspora in Europe, the growing cooperation between Italian, Polish and Ukrainian universities, and new social and educational initiatives promoted by Domus Europa. Special attention was dedicated to projects supporting children affected by war, cultural diplomacy, environmental protection and sustainable development—areas that will remain central to our activities in the coming months.

Universities, institutions, businesses and civil society came together with one common objective: transforming international cooperation into concrete projects that improve lives and contribute to Ukraine’s future.

Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 – Gdańsk

Today, Rector Prof. MD Orest Chemerys and Stefano Nicolussi Rossi, President of Renovua S.p.A. and Domus Europa, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Danylo Halytskyy Lviv National Medical University LNMU, one of Ukraine’s leading medical universities and one of Europe’s most experienced institutions in the treatment of war trauma and Renovua S.p.A.

This agreement represents a major milestone in the development of the Veterans Competence & Rehabilitation Centers – Ukraine initiative, conceived and coordinated by Renovua S.p.A. as a nationwide platform for the treatment and rehabilitation of war veterans and civilians suffering from severe limb injuries and amputations.

Within this partnership, LNMU will become the National Ukrainian Hub for the implementation of Targeted Sensory Reinnervation (TSR), providing surgeon training, clinical quality management, scientific coordination and supporting the development of next-generation sensory bionic prostheses.

The project is based on the groundbreaking TSR technology invented by Prof. Dr. Alexander Gardetto, who also serves as the Medical Leader of the initiative. Together with a growing network of partner hospitals across Ukraine, the project is now entering its operational phase with the objective of establishing a coordinated national rehabilitation ecosystem combining advanced surgery, prosthetic innovation, research and long-term rehabilitation.
